Stereotypical bias

Description

(Often used interchangeably with implicit stereotype) Acting on stereotypical beliefs, often unconsciously.

Example 1:

During performance reviews, a manager might unknowingly use gender-stereotypical language, describing male employees as "assertive" and female employees with similar behavior as "abrasive."

Example 2:

Assuming an older employee will be resistant to learning new technology, or a younger employee will lack commitment, based on stereotypical beliefs about age groups.
