Description

The cognitive bias which causes people to think individuals are more attractive when they are in a group than when they are seen individually.

Example 1:

A team's collective presentation might be perceived more positively than if each member's individual contribution was assessed separately.

Example 2:

A product might seem more appealing when presented as part of a popular "bundle" or collection, even if its individual value is not as high.
